My Story
Hi, I’m the founder of Tiny Threads and, most importantly, mum to a beautiful little boy who is autistic.
Like many parents of children with additional needs, our days can be unpredictable. His needs can change from one day to the next, and there are times when I need to drop everything at a moment’s notice to be there for him. Because of this, holding down a “normal” job has often felt out of reach. Believe me, I tried. But ultimately, my son will always come first.
My son has always been sensitive to certain fabrics, seams, and clothing labels. Finding clothes and bedding that were comfortable enough for him wasn’t always easy. At the same time, he absolutely loves Disney, colourful characters, and fun designs that bring him joy.
That’s where the idea for Tiny Threads began.
Our Mission
This journey has been years in the making. I ordered my very first samples back in 2021, explored the idea again in 2023, and then reignited my dream in 2025 when I finally discovered the softest, butteriest bamboo fabric imaginable. Not only is it incredibly soft, but it’s also breathable, comfortable, and something that worked wonderfully for my son.
With him at the heart of every decision, I knew that label-free products were the way forward. I wanted to create products that felt good, looked beautiful, and brought comfort to children who may experience sensitivities just like he does.
Tiny Threads has been built with love, determination, and more late nights than I can count. My heart and soul have gone into making this dream a reality, and I am so grateful you’re here.
